It is obvious that the "Steps" that users click though are designed to gather Facebook login information and other personal details.The final page of the scam is as shown below:



If a user submits their Facebook login details,then the scammers will have a complete control over his/her account.They can access their personal information to try and steal their identity and can also send bogus messages to their friends stating that they are in trouble and need money and so on.They can send links to other scams to all of the victim's Facebook friends...the ways of misusing and exploiting once the account is in their control are endless...

If you entered your Facebook login details on the scam page then be sure to let your Facebook friends know that your account has been taken over by someone else and not to click on any links that are sent from you.
